Information We Collect

We collect Personal Information and request access to Device Information for the specific purposes outlined below.

Information You Provide Directly: User Email Address

Account Management: To allow you to create and log into your account, manage your subscription, and reset your password.

Information from Your Device (Requires Permission)Contact List (Names and Emails from Device Address Book)

Friend Invitations: Used only to allow you to select and invite friends to the App via a secure mechanism of your choosing (e.g., text, email).

Your photos are never stored on our servers. Subscription payments are handled entirely by the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and are not processed or stored by us.

Data Storage and Security: We store your email address on secure servers provided by our hosting partner. We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect the personal information we hold against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

Data Retention: We will retain your email address for as long as your Jrive account remains active. Upon request for account deletion, your email address will be permanently removed from our systems within [e.g., 30 days], unless a longer period is required to comply with our legal obligations.

Disclosure and Sharing of Your Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information (your email address or contacts data) with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

  • Third-Party Services: We may use third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to run the App (e.g., hosting services, crash reporting). These parties are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You have the following rights regarding the personal information we hold:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate information.

  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to request that we delete your account and all associated personal information (email).

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for contact access at any time by changing the settings on your device.

Children's Privacy

The Jrive App can be used by all ages. If a child is under 13 we recommend an adult monitors the Childs usage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on the website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted.
